Quatar ends RP’s ‘top 5’ hopes

Powerade Team Pilipinas, a day after a frustrating loss to Jordan, went out flat against Qatar, losing by an 83-65 rout. The loss erased the possibility of a top 5 finish and a shot at a wildcard slot in the upcoming 2010 World Championships in Turkey.

Kerby Raymundo topscored for the nationals with 12 points.
